Anti-Islamic Prejudice Is a Devouring Flame: My Latest Piece for the Good Men Project

I'm pleased to share my latest piece for the Good Men Project, which draws on my wife's and my personal experience living and working in Bosnia and Herzegovina during our first year of marriage. One of the great privileges of that year was to have been introduced to the beauties of Islam--often by Bosnians who were not themselves of Muslim background. That this could happen in a country that had been so thoroughly torn apart by violent nationalism masquerading as religion is a great testimony to the capacity of human minds and hearts to discern truth from falsehood. With anti-Islamic sentiment becoming more widespread in the United States, I hope that more people here will hone that capacity, too.
