UPCOMING: Book Talks in Beaufort, SC

Friends, family, and coworkers in and around Beaufort, SC, please join me for two book talks in the heart of Reconstruction in America this Friday, February 7. From 1 to 3 p.m. I'll be presenting at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, and at 6 p.m. I'll be joining youth and parents involved in the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program at the home of a local Baha'i friend. I'll have copies of A History of the Baha'i Faith in South Carolina available for sale and signing at both venues.

Please note that my talk at historic Penn Center, the first school for freed people in the former Confederacy and a critical site for the development of the Baha'i community in the southeastern U.S., originally scheduled for Saturday, has to be postponed. I'll share the new date as soon as possible.
