UPCOMING: Book Talks on Sidelines of SHA Conference in Louisville
This weekend I'll be traveling to Louisville, Kentucky, for the annual conference of the Southern Historical Association (SHA), and local friends have been kind enough to organize two book talks while I'm in town.
The first will be an informal gathering Friday night at the Louisville Baha'i Center in which I'll share some thoughts and images from the book, A History of the Baha'i Faith in South Carolina, centered on the theme of the unfinished business of Reconstruction in the U.S.
The second event will be Sunday morning at 11:00, also at the Baha'i Center, following a devotional gathering. Both events are free and open to the public, and I'll have plenty of books available for sale and signing.
Friends and colleagues in the Louisville area and nearby, as well as those attending the SHA conference, please consider joining me!
