UPCOMING: Book Talk at Unitarian Church, Greenville, SC
This Saturday, January 14, 2017, I'll be speaking at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Greenville, South Carolina, the city where I grew up and which figures very prominently in my book, No Jim Crow Church: The Origins of South Carolina's Baha'i Community. I'm happy to be coming home to Greenville to talk about such an important, and hitherto underappreciated, aspect of its history. And I hope to see plenty of friends and family members there!
The event is co-sponsored by the Unitarians, the Upstate Baha'i Men's Group, and Interfaith Forum of Greenville. Potluck meal begins at 5:00 and the talk will follow. I'll have a few paperback copies of the book for sale (at a discount) and signing.
Welcome!
